There are those who stagger from extremes
And miss the balance in between
Where healing and good things take place
Which is the problem with the human race
It always mocks the middle ground
And in its wisdom trying to act profound
They rush to occupy the extreme
And speak as though its the only place to be
Taking a side and hating the other
Rooted in violence
Rooted in anger
Rather than residing in love
And residing in peace
They seek a place of extremes
A place of nightmares not of dreams.
