I have an affliction

which is a constant need,

to keep everybody happy

even if it’s at a cost to me.

I have a constant need

to to do as others please,

never standing up for myself

being walked over with ease,

it’s like I hate causing offence

or being seen as difficult,

maybe this what then leads,

to people walking all over me.

I feel constantly used

feel constantly abused

maybe the only one to blame is me.
