Keep on falling

Cannot sleep

Hard to think

Of anything

While slipping

Further down

The dark deep hole

Of financial woe

Desperation in tow

No sign of light

No hopeful glow

Finding dead ends

Wherever I go

I see nothing

But this dark deep hole.
