The moon rises up
Beyond the horizon of the sea
Brilliant white creating a path
Along the still sea that night
As I stood and I stared
I contemplated following the path there
To the end to find out just where it would take me
And dreams or was it astral travel
I flew and skimmed above the mirrored surface
The sea was still and it was calm
Just like my mind and it meant me no harm
And in the moonshine light
On the star fill ebony night
I felt love, I felt peace
And I felt my soul and spirit released
In that moment I felt life had unveiled to me
Universal conscious reality
That exceeded my wildest dreams
On that night, in the moonshine
As it rose high into the sky
And shone its light down on me.
