And though darkness surrounds me
And tries to envelop me like a shroud
I keep my light shining incandescently
I keep my hopes up and retain my positivity
I refute the dark and beckon the light
I speak of joy and refuse to be down trodden
I embrace the light of life
And shower happiness and love
For anger and hate has no place in my zone.
