I lay in a bed of my own making

A situation where I find myself breaking

And I know that I am not mistaken

As an existentialist I fully agree

That responsibility is down to me

I have to accept accountability

For the decisions I make

For the life I consequently lead

And I take ownership of this fact

And though times are hard

I survive by fighting back

And looking for different way

To help myself get up again

And live to exist another day

Within my own unique way

And create opportunities come what may.
