I am just an open book

And you wish to know me

Just simply take look

For my heart is on display

And my consciousness the same

I am here for all to see

My words I always bleed

Onto the page

Of my personal poetry

I pour both my heart

And my tired soul

Out for all to see

I live my life openly

I need to find my frequency

I need to find words

That define me

I need to discover if I can be

Living in creativity

Because nothing else has worked

In a life that’s been so hard

That it hurt

So I need to

I bleed to find my frequency

I need to find my self belief

I need to vent myself

Through my poetry

And be that open book

For other people to read

Because if they feel the same

At least they’ll know

That they are not alone

And we can help each other in some way

I am happy for everybody

Just to see me

As this open book

That they can read

And do it freely

And see
