My grandson is my idol
A living legend and true superhero
Nobody comes quite a close as him
To radiating with such brilliance
Despite his struggles, his fights and battles
With a genetic disorder that may limit his days
He doesn’t take notice, and gets on and plays
Today is his magnificent birthday
And he is caring and loving
And doesn’t seek attention
He lives his life wonderfully present
And this is what makes me in awe of him so
I love this little dude, this superhero.
