They say truth is stranger than fiction
But then it’s also true that lying becomes an addiction
And this my friends is fact not fiction
It’s up to each of us to choose our position
I am not talking of little white lies
I am talking of the kind that destroys lives
These kind of lies are simply not right
This is not the way to live your life
Lies are deceitful, lies are depraved
Live your life in a truthful way.
Yes, totally agree with the message of the poem! Layers of lies no longer defines who you are, and while you don’t wouldn’t others to lie about you, you don’t want to lie to hurt others…we just need to stay true 😉
When you tell one lie, you have to continue telling more to cover up the previous ones. Better to be honest and not have to worry about remembering the lies you have told. Great post and message. 🙂
