A heart that burns

My heart burns with a fire

Glowing white hot with passion

It’s all about humanity

And our planet

Both need protecting

Both need to be nurtured

Both need to be healed

For they’ve been badly damaged

Both have been sadly used and abused

And recklessly exploited

We need to put a stop to this

We need to highlight the shame

In a hope that we can bring about a change

By those who perpetrate these acts that hurt each day

We all need to work together

Create a world of unity

Stop people dividing up

Our humanity

Because we are of the same one big family

And this earth is our home

So we need to start respecting it

This earth is out home

So let’s start repairing it

From the damage we have done.
