Music flows through my veins
Resonates in my head
I have a constant and varied playlist
Playing on repeat on shuffle mode
It helps me on my journey down the long hardest roads.
Sometimes I need a love song
Or something to lift me up
Sometimes I need something
That will drive me on
But no matter what I need
The music is always there
Music offers love for you to share
And the right song with the right words
Can demonstrate just how much you care.
Now my playlist is chosen
With the utmost care
Not just any song
Is going to make it there
Many have grown with me
And will always be there
Many keep my mind sharp
And keep me consciously aware
That the greatest gift we offer others
Is to love, share and care
And to always remind them
You will always be there.
