Pictures of love abound me
I see see sensual imagery
I feel the warmth within them
And wish it was you and me
But we’ve grown so cold
And it so hard to know
What this is but it’s killing the love
And I know what we had
That once glowing love
Has diminished beyond understanding
So what are we to do
Do we keep struggling through
It’s so hard but we’ve got to keep fighting
It’s in our hearts
It’s in our minds
We can rekindle it if inclined
We can seek out that warmth
We can seek the embrace
That has left us within this cold place
If we don’t love will die
And no tears will be cried
We will simply fade to grey
It’s in our hearts
It’s in our minds
We can rekindle it if inclined
It’s our choice
It’s our chance
To make this last stand
To decide if to keep fighting
Or just let it go.
