Say goodnight and then goodbye
We are tired of this life
It’s material and greedy ways
Are not for me so I am walking away
To find a new place some sanctuary
Where I can Foster love and peace
Maybe somewhere back in nature
Maybe in amongst the trees
Where my heart can grow
And my mind will still
And my soul glows in luminescence
Transcending l life’s misery
I will find my solitude
Within my spirituality
So I say goodnight and I say goodbye
As I walk away from society
Into blissful serenity
Where I will bask in tranquility
Back in nature, where I know live
In the verdancy of the trees.
