I wonder if today

If Gandhi and John Lennon

Were alive they maybe called snowflakes

And attacked as fakes by certain sections of society

Who suggest that talking about peace,love and compassion

Is a sign of weakness and a lack of understanding

I wonder if they would have been mocked and ridiculed by the ignorant

Because that’s what those standing up against war, death and violence face

Just like animal lovers and environmentalists are seen as freaks and weirdos

Society has become so toxic and judgemental and brutal in its words

Towards those who just want to live in a harmonious, way where equality is the main factor

Where greed and corruption are things of the past.

If being a believer in the goodness of humanity

And a believer in positivity, love peace and compassion makes me a weird snowflake

I will accept this everytime.
