We who care

We are not perfect

But we care

Flawed as we are

We still strive

To be good

We don’t try

To be righteous

We don’t set ourselves

As saints so holy

We just fight for equality

We fight for our environment

We fight for animal rights

We battle corruption

We fight against greed

And stand up against

Hate and poverty

We stand up for the little man

For that’s who we are

Not often seen

Living life on hopes and dreams

We are the legion

Of society.
