Marking time

Tick tock

The clock is on countdown

Tick tock

The earth is on meltdown

Natures rising

Times being marked

Tick tock

It’s going to go dark

Tick tock

Mankind’s left its mark

Pushing exploitation

And greed to far

Has left so many scars

Plastic polluted seas

Humanity is a disease

Polluted poor air quality

Birds in numbers going extinct

A world of concrete

Where animals roamed

We built on TV heir himes

Tick tock

The seeds have been sown

Tick tock

There’ll be no safe zone

When the end arrives

And our beautiful home

Has become to dangerous to live in

Our ignorance and arrogance

Leaves no room for forvigness.

  1. Great Post.

“The planet will be here for a long, long, long time after we’re gone and it will heal itself, it will cleanse itself ’cuz that’s what it does. It’s a self-correcting system. The air and the water will recover, the earth will be renewed

I think we’re part of a greater wisdom than we’ll ever understand, a higher order, call it what you want. You know what I call it? The Big Electron.

The Big Electron. Woooohhhh, woooohhhh, woooohhhh. It doesn’t punish, it doesn’t reward, it doesn’t judge at all. It just is, and so are we, for a little while.”

  2. This makes me sad. But I had an odd thought recently. What if our planet earth has a “fever” which is actually global warming, the point of which is to rid herself of the parasitic humans which are destroying parts of her body. Maybe it’s okay for us to be eliminated through climate change. Odd thought, I know. But I found it rather comforting to consider whether there is an “earth intelligence” that will figure out a way to renew itself in the absence of the polluting humans.
