Life is hard we know this

But we don’t need to be too

We need strength to live it

But anger and bitterness has no gains

We must keep intact our love

We can be warriors of life

Without losing our compassion

Yet we can retain our tolerance

We can battle through and stay focused

While caring and sharing with others around

To do this elevates you upward

Rather than see us sink down in the mire

We can be better than we think

Even though life may make us tire

We can be golden we can be heroes

Of our only life story

It matters not how others perceive us

We can live life in goodness and spiritual glory.
