Yet perishing in heartbreak

A stream of tears flowing softly

In abundance down our cheeks

Pritine in clarity as emotions are reached

That wrench our hearts and wrench our soul

It’s hard when love is lost to retain control

Desire is lost now we are all alone

That connection we once had has now flown

And cold bitter twisted weeds now here grow

All because of the heartbreak we sowed

Forgetting once upon a time how once this love glowed

But in our need for more we neglected each other

And now that love cannot remain and so it goes.
