The show is over for another day
The curtain comes down once again
I gather my weary body ready for sleep
Tomorrow I’ll be ready to go again
It’s a wurlitzer of a life
It seems like time is flying by
It’s a roller-coaster of a ride
Up and down all of the time
But with white knuckles we hold on tight
We scream with joy and out of fright
We live out each day and dream through the night
We are witnesses to so many sights
That inspire us or that make us cry
That throws up many questions why?
We hear and tell so many truths and lies
But now it’s time to say goodnight
