Suicidal tendencies

That’s what it is to be a human being

Dragging ourselves to extinction

This is the only thing we do with conviction

It’s up there with self serving greed

Ignoring all environmental needs

Driving big gas guzzling cars

Embracing dirty fuels at large

Wasteful, careless human beings

Living lives that lack real meaning

Based around material wealth

At the expense of the environments health

They don’t care, they just consume

Our suicidal tendencies

Will soon be our doom

But there’s a chance for us to change

Let’s do. It in our earth’s name.
