Health is something that we take for granted

We never let it worry us

Until the time that we fall ill

Then in medicine and doctors we trust

But what’s going to happen

When they say hat they can’t help you

When you cannot afford the doctors bills

Then private health care you will rue

It makes me kind of giggle and it makes me angry too

That the privatising of the NHS means we all lose

The right to free and easy healthcare

Now only those rich few can afford too choose

The type of medical care they get

The rest of us will have to go withouy

Or scrimp and scrape for basic care

For the sick and disabled this would be a nightmare

So we must protect our NHS

Protect a system that is the best health care system in the world

And protect the rights we’ve always held.
