Catastrophic moments we may see

Many people they are awakening

The bloom of the flowers representing you and me

Opening up in beautiful arrays

Rainbow people on full display

On a sirocco wind we are carried away

But the threat to all humanity today

Threatens to cause an extinction wilt

On fragile ground our future is built

Some look to the stars and a cosmic tilt

Wealthy corporations will show no guilt

When the dark rolls over our sacred place

This paradise will be lost in every way

Seas will rise and heat will burn

Crops will fail and pecies will die

There will be no tears left to be cried

History will this time tell no lies

For there will be no one to write it out

There’s no way we will be able to ride it out

Clouds burst and rain showers down

Like our tears soaking the dead ground all around

Echoes of and empty would are gone for there is no sound

And even if there was who would hear it

This is our future so fear it

A world of zero existence

We need to be the hope and resistance.
