Where are the tears?

Once upon a time there were footprints here

Of races of people and species that are gone now

And where are the tears?

There are none, because too few people care,

The inca’s dissappeared killed by greed and fear

Their presence or their footprints are no longer been seen here,

White and black rhinos no longer exists,

The last of them died in 2018

Killed by greed and for ivory

Their presence or their footprint are no longer seen here

So many species on land and in the air and seas

Have disappeared and no longer exist

Their presence or their footprint are no longer be seen here

But where are the tears?

There are none, because to few people care,

How long will it be before other races are gone?

How much of the animal Kingdom

Be forced further into extinction?

Through ignorance and greed

Until so many no longer exist here

Their presence or their footprint are no longer be seen here

But where are the tears?

There are none, because to few people care,

Humanity has to change its ways step back from greed

And it’s over populating ways

Clean up its act and stop polluting

Or one day

Our presence or our footprint will no longer be seen here

But where will be the tears?

There are none, because there will be people care.

  1. When the footprints of Man disappear from Mother Earth, will She also have dry eyes?
