We took a journey

Went for a ride

We sailed our ship

Ocean wide

We sought the answers

We craved to know

Who knew we were

Deluding ourselves

For the answers are within

For all those that can see

For the answers are within

For those that do believe

For the answers are within

It’s an inescapable fact

We can keep on searching

But without this wisdom we’ll be back.

Now I sought so many teachers

And spiritual guru’s

Hoping fo the answers but they didn’t have a clue

But a Buddhist monk told me

It’s all within you

And I understood immediately

But many still are confused

For the answers are within

For all those that can see

For the answers are within

For those that do believe

For the answers are within

It’s an inescapable fact

We can keep on searching

But without this wisdom we’ll be back.

Now I have stuff ied the universe

And read every single theory

Read every single bible

In a hope tha t I would see

But truth of the obvious

Will come back to haunt you and me

Because the answers are within

But we’re so blind we get lost

In the external illusory

And ignore our conscious reality

For the answers are within

For all those that can see

For the answers are within

For those that do believe

For the answers are within
