I try not to rant

I try not to rage

I never say can’t

I try never to ever act my age

so you look at me strange

yes like I am deranged

but I try to be unique in my own way

you talk behind my back

but perception and truth you lack

so I don’t take I personally maybe you are on crack

for the love I show, unconditionally

Is a love I give, quite freely

It’s a default setting in me

that I can’t shake and never want to because in love I believe

It creates a happy heart for all to see

and that is what appeals to me

It’s what creates my dreams

this is why I live life uniquely and individually

I seek to spread this as a belief

and all you do is laugh at me

but I will get the last laugh just you wait and see

and realize that this is why I am free

and why what you say and do will never effect me

because I believe in me.
