A little lift needed

I need a little hope

And a whole lot of joy

I need some reason to rejoice

I keep my dreams high

And my head down low

I try everything that I know

I seek opportunities wherever they be

I keep my spirit always free

My heart is always open

And I always share the love

But sometimes it doesn’t seem enough

I need so immaculate irridescent light

I wish I could catch a break once in a while

I give all I can, taking very little back

So come on universe cut me some slack.
