The time is dawning

Overheating, flooding is occurring,

Signs of global warming

Seas rising and tides surging

Forest fires they are burning,

Increased polar melting

As parts of the world are sweltering,

High rainfall causing floods

Nobody destroys earth like a human does,

And to the kids protesting who we should show love,

People troll and say it’s to much,

They should not be listened too

They are simply being used,

Though it’s their future, so should be heard,

Meanwhile extinction of animals, mammals and birds

Continues on, now add insects to the list

Yet people mock environmentalists,

Saying they’re fear mongering and over reacting

This from people who are to lazy and compliant to be acting,

They just follow and believe what they are fed

Don’t use the brain inside they’re head

But are governed by media and papers they’ve read

Truth is global warming is a real threat

And times passing quick and there’s little left

But opportunity to change things still is there yet.
