Life can be so exasperating
When you see things in the making
Like the rise of fear and hate
Fostered by those who use that as power
Seeking to make others cower
Using colour, faith and nationality
To divide and break down unity
And to divide us by the language we speak
This is abhorrent to me
And it’s on the rise for all to see
Which I find unsettling and disturbing
This is truly offensive to me
For I believe we should all live freely
In a multi cultural society.
