Glory days have gone
But I believe they will come again
Halcyon days linger in my memory
Golden years hold fast within my thoughts
But as I am still alive I know there is still a chance
Of the days returning once again
So I keep my spirits high and sustain
A belief in my blessed life to stay bright
Which we manifest in our own creative minds.
