Valentine’s Day for her was like a massacre
Past Valentine’s ended in hurt and pain
This day of love and happiness was not her history
She was the victim of so many Valentine’s massacres
She was the victim of abject abuse
She was the victim of her love being used
But though this should ring alarm bells don’t get confused
She would come back everytime
To find a love that’s true,
Despite the risk of once again
Of some treating her so cruel
It’s a Valentine’s massacre and it breaks all the rules.
