He was blinded by her, everything she was shone like the brightest light, dazzled his very being and she gave him every reason to be hopeful that love could grow and flourish between them. He saw nothing within her that caused him concern. They would go out dancing, singing, laughing,. Sitting under stars kissing and holding each other. Then one day she disappeared and when he asked where she was, she said she needed time, needed, space but what he actually found out that there was someone else and had been for a long time. She had fooled him, she had disguised the real her, cold, calculating and totally lacking any empathy. She said she could not see the problem, they had a good time, had good fun, now it was time to move on. She would not accept any responsibility, refused to understand what damage and hurt she caused. She hung is heart out, nailed it to a wall, ripped his world apart and yet thought her actions were fine, normal. In the end he had to walk away for his own wellbeing and mental health. He had to break from needed to be with her despite his love, craving and attachment to her. Sometime later he saw her, drinking, indulging in drugs and the sadness he felt for her resonated hard with him. But she destroyed him without warning and though he really wanted to help her, he knew he couldn’t, because he could not be destroyed by her again and that was so sad.
