I stay away from all things toxic,
Leave out the games, it’s such a shame
Things seemed to be going ok,
A friendship that seemed to have been made
Is in danger of slip sliding away,
I don’t know why but I guess it’s just the way
So I will therefore be on my way today,
I will see you again maybe, when you get your head straight
Until then I hope you stay safe
As I retain my dignity and grace,
Even though I find this such a sad day
It leaves me with such a feeling of utter dismay.
