Minorities rule in this world today

And nobody finds this to be insane,

Only one quarter vote for those who rule

The rest are treated like fools and abused,

How did this happen in a democracy

Where money dictates who leads,

Money invested into political parties

Where corruption takes center stage,

Where the spin men who hide away,

Within the shadows of power

Planning and scheming, hour by hour,

Dictating policies the masses did not agree too,

Having imposed upon them laws that are skewed

In the favour of those that rule.
