It’s on me, again

Late night drive midnight drive

To aide another,

Knowing I got an early five in the morning start

Despite needing the hospital all day,

They decided to ring for help late

How was I supposed to say no and turn away,

Knowing it’s going to wreck me the next day,

Let’s just hope there is a reward in heaven

Because there is not one down here,

other than the knowledge that I did the right thing,

Despite knowing how it will be impacting,

On me.

One response to “It’s on me, again”

  1. Good for you! I bet they really appreciated it!
