Live without decay

Just fly away into the ether

And let yourself drift away,

Don’t worry about yesterday

Live in this moment,

Live each and every day

In calm and mindful way,

Let your worries just fade,

What’s the point in stressing

This just leads to feelings,

That become so depressing

And life is far too short for that,

We surely deserve more

Why worry over things,

That we know we can’t control

It just leaves us with a hole,

And an ache in our heart and soul,

But we have to break the mold

Create great stories to be told,

Of living well not living sadly

When we stress we are living badly,

So let’s fly away into the ether

And let ourselves just drift away,

Live mindfully without decay,

And everything should be ok.

  2. Read this in the bible yesterday. Luke 12:25-31 New International Version (NIV)
25 ‘Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?’ It is useless to worry and your beautiful poem resonates with that same reasoning. I love it.
