The curtain falls
The lights go out,
End of play
That we call life,
The audience is all gone
We’re on our own
We’re just left with memories
Of the past, no thoughts of tomorrow,
All we hear are the echoes
Of our own footsteps,
As we exit stage left
And leave this building,
As we leave this life.
