Put down the youth when the protest
When the make a stand for the environment,
Downgrade the youth through their exam grades
Government have managed to display,
A contempt towards the youth of today in everyway
The government is the problem of our social decay,
The same old tired rich and privileged few
Doing what they can to undermine the youth,
They are the past and the youth they are the future
Let’s back the youth and their ideas,
For it’s their world we’re corrupting and destroying
We need a new fresher approach,
Not the same old churned out lies
Where those who are in power maintain the class divide,
Separating people on gender, colour and faith
These soporific politicians a now a real disgrace,
The youth is the future,
The youth is the way,
Let them finally be heard.
And let them have their say.
