More suffering because of guns
More deaths as the violence goes on,
More of the same old rhetoric
Why don’t people question what doesn’t fit,
Kids running with guns
Used by extremists and politicians,
Exploited by the weapons manufacturers
Why the hell aren’t people angry about this,
Why are they not demanding an end to it
Why do they make excuses for this,
It seems property is more valuable than life
In this darkness we can find no light,
You cannot justify gun ownership and shootings
Because this messed up shit just ain’t right.
