They try hurt me by insulting my writing,
But they can do it because it’s their envy they are citing,
They try to get me vexed but I am not biting,
I am not engaging in verbal fighting,
I like what I do and the message I spread
I am the type to go alone and not be led,
Those who criticise were born and bred
To live off of the poison they were fed,
They think they’re more intellectual than me
I have to smile and disagree,
I am no genius but my mind is free
I am not a victim of their toxic society,
I am not motivated by greed
Sorry therefore if that causes you to hate me,
You paint your life as successful so desperately
You cannot bare to think that my creativity,
Maybe liked by others, so you try to tear me down
But in the circus of life you just look a clown,
But I forgive your ways for you are the real victim
Wasting your whole life trying to be something,
But in the end who will remember you
Will your life leave behind any real truths,
There will be nothing that you’ll have left behind,
But my words will linger on, compassionate and kind,
And enriching hopefully someone else’s life,
who’s also connected to the same love and light
That I weave through the words that I write,
And will inspire others so their future may be bright,
For I have inner strength and self belief,
I don’t need you to agree with me,
I do not need your approval you see,
For the words that I write define me,
And nothing you can say will malign my dream,
So you can take your illiterate verbage and toxicity,
And walk away now and leave me,
To the love and the warmth of those who are following,
Who share the same wisdom and spirituality,
That has created such a wonderful community,
Based on poetry that is creative and free,
And is an expression of love and light, rooted existentially
In a world based on living from our own authenticty.
