We build up walls
To try and keep hurt out,
Yet in doing so
We are denied any love,
Through our own actions
We isolate ourselves,
Yet cry out in pain
Because we’re all alone,
Why we think hiding
Behind walls of stone,
Will make us seen
Why do we believe,
That others will see
Our love light shining bright.
