I see you wounded and hurt
Face down laid out in the dirt,
I could not imagine or believe
That someone would leave you so bereaved,
Of all feeling and of all love
I can’t help but to think that what you need,
Is to heal you and end your grief
And I kind of hope that maybe me,
Because it’s what I do, this is my belief,
To lend a hand, to help others up
And to restore in them, new life and love,
So let me help, ease your pain
And set you free to fly once again.
