The no man lands of Neptune
Leave me isolated and alone,
Yet the caves are quiet a different tale
They hide secrets like underground lakes,
And life yet to evolve and wake,
There are caves carved into great halls and corridors,
Where once other species roamed,
Within the planet of Neptune
We discover things unseen,
Like at night it’s showers moonbeams
That cast incandescent scenes,
As I walk the trails of Neptune
Can’t help but simply dream,
Of the species who once lived, a while here
Before humanity sprung to life,
Then they helped us to develop
Before realising we’re warlike,
And so left the dwellings of Neptune
To travel far distances away,
But they still dream and remember Neptune
And think of when they’ll be back again,
When humanity has drifted into extinction
And earth’s no a home for this brutal race
And they will swim back in the underground lakes,
And see how new life on Neptune will awake,
And join the encore of lives
Spread across this cosmic space,
And Neptune will become the brave new world,
Where they’ll spread beauty and spread grace
Even across the No Man Lands of Neptune,
This is where new life will strive to shed their new light.
