Old versus young

The wisdom of the old

Often conquers over

The impetuousness of the young,

The careful considered approach

Over the overeager jump right in attitude

Often sees the old triumph over the new.

This is so true! Makes me think of the saying “Before I was wise, I was stupid”. Lol. Of course, I sadly know a few old timers in my personal life who could benefit from this poem. It seems they never grew past the age of 16. lol. Awesome words, my friend. 👏🏼☺️
