Think before you speak or act
About how we can effect others,
How we can devastate and destroy
Somebody’s worth, dignity and sense of being,
Think of all the damage that you can cause
By the slightest hurtful word or act,
And understand that when you that
You cannot always take it back,
Something’s, sometimes you cannot always retract,
And the hurt and pain you caused them
Is because of something you may lack,
Like s lapse of care, love or empathy
And sadly that’s a sad and truthful fact,
But you have the power
Not to break somebody down just for the crack,
Just maybe they’re slightly different
Maybe foreign, gay or black, if u know
They’re all still human beings
And if you fail to see this friend, then it’s intelligence you lack.
