We weep in the corners hidden by shadows
To hide the pain and to hide the fear,
That chills and seeps into our very bone marrow
That way we are not seen clearer cry out life a wolf howling,
Trying to express, all of our deep regret and distress
And yet we hear the dark figures creeping, always prowling,
We now have let the darkness become our mistress
We failed to hold on to love, we couldn’t get enough,
We lost the sight of light and ended up dwelling in the night,
These creatures we’ve become
Are creatures that succumb ,
To negativity and all the things we never wanted to be
And it’s so sad to see, it’s not a life I saw for me,
Haunted and devastated,
Wan and eviscerated,
Look what suffering created,
And it won’t set me free!
