We live in a world today of style over substance,
The focus is on what you look like
Rather than what it is you are doing,
It’s so fucking shallow and totally inane
And if you want to on you have to play their game,
That’s why the world is so messed up
Because those who are rooted in substance
Are often left out and behind,
Where those who are obsessed with style
And barely use their shallow minds,
Find themselves somehow nonsensically, in places of command.
Yes giving importance to the outward appearance and the deeds are never notified
This is true but it has been a truth for centuries now. Those that have money get better medical, dental and can stay younger longer. Everyone wants a bigger and better car and house, yet none of these things buy us happiness. If only more people realized this. My faith is the most important thing to me. Love ❤️ Joni
