A saffron sky dazzles my eyes
In an afternoon delight,
As the sun is setting on another hard day
But nature eases my stress away,
As I wait to see the moon rise up
And reflect off of the ocean, I love this so much,
I need no more than this to be happy
Yeah and I am a geezer so people say I am sappy,
But they can say what they like I am a romantic soul
And more so as I grow old,
I make no apologies for loving the natural life
And reflecting it in the words I write,
I love the summer madness
And the moonlight nights,
I love feeling my emotions, as they reach new heights
I love nature’s pure delights,
To the point where I feel choked and I cry
Out of joy and happiness for life
And the miracle it is,
As it floods into my conscious minds eye.
