Ramp up the pressure
Christmas is here,
It’s meant to be a time
For family and good cheer,
But worry over money
And pleasing people with gifts,
Seems to be the only way
Some people can get a lift,
But after such a bad year
Material things should be the least,
Of everybody’s worries
Surviving this year of the Covid beast,
Should be of the greatest relief
And knowing that soon we will be able hug and mix,
That is at the top of my Santa wish list.
