Words are powerful and are mighty
I feel them yearning deep inside me,
Bursting and exploding to come out
In tantrums and slogans I scream and shout,
Words rip from my anguished lips
I feel touch, I feel everything,
Words are alchemy, words are magic
Some, happy, defiant or just tragic,
Word consume and they stir action
They tear down the silent faction,
And spread a message far and wide
Words are not something that we should hide.
