Heart and soul

I sit here alone as always

Looking at the ruination,

I sing a song of empathy

And of consideration,

If we all could share in the one love

And if we could care more about others

This world maybe then evolve

Into people of understanding

Humanitarianism we would be resonating

Warmth and not the cold

And we would all know the importance

Of both the heart as well as the soul.

    Lovely poem 🙂 , and I empathize with you. This world would be a better place if we all learned some compassion. Or, at the very least, learn to conduct ourselves in a more logical manner.
